Flameproof enclosures are specially made for installation of control and regulation devices directly in hazardous areas.
We offers a wide range of flameproof enclosures in the gas groups IIB+H2 and IIC. They are certified according to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and IECEx standard IEC 60079.. for use in hazardous areas of zone 1 and in the presence of combustible dusts of zone 21. The flame proof boxes are case individually equipped with the appropriate control and regulating components,wired to terminals according to the wiring diagram and completed with cable entries.
Cases where inside Intrinsically Safe (Ex ia) apparatus are housed, the ambient temperature range become -20°C ÷ +40°C and the temperature class T6 (T85 °C for combustible dust ). The Ex d enclosures are characterized by a lid with flanged joints on which rectangular frames or circular portholes (made of tempered glass and light alloy frame) may be mounted allowing the view of the instrumentation housed inside the enclosure. The standard supply of Ex d enclosures provides external embossed effect painting with epoxy paint RAL7000 and internal anti-condense coating RAL 2004.
